ST DOODLE 1.0b - Release date 05/1993 (1st release..05/1991!!!!)
ST DOODLE 1.0 is a shareware program. It can be freely passed around to
any active ST user. As a matter of fact please take the time to give this
program to your freinds or user groups. If you enjoy using the program
please take the time to register your copy and become a valid user.
Please include this doc file when giving this program to any end users,
user groups, or shareware libraries. Thank you.
SHAREWARE - If you enjoy working with any shareware software please take
the time to register your copy with the author. Most if not
all shareware is reasonably priced and if you really use the
program you owe it to the author to register your copy. While
it might seem very easy not to pay the author please don't
forget that alot of time and energy was probably spent in
creating the software and if you don't register your copy
your just sending a message to the author not to develop any
future versions or worse maybe not develop at all. If you took
the time to run the software and you didn't care for it..why
not write the author a letter telling them your impressions of
thier product? Shareware does work...but you have to get
involved.
ST DOODLE 1.0 - Requirements
1 meg of memory.
720k drive for floppy users.
SM124 monitor or compatible.
Epson compatible 9 pin dot martrix printer.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
ST DOODLE 1.0 is a very simplistic paint program that allows the user to
create computer graphics on the monochrome screen. It was primarily
designed to allow the user just to tinker around with various graphics
commands. A sort of pixel exploration. It really wasn't meant for detailed
graphic work. After I found myself using this program for my own graphic
work I realized this program was more useful than I thought. So I then
added more features and a few NEVER BEFORE SEEN features and here we are
about a year or two later (because of other projects) with ST DOODLE 1.0.
It should be noted that this program has been heavily tested on
children and they all thought that this program was easy to grasp. This
might be an added plus for some of you. (Try the puzzler!!)
After running this program why not write me a quick letter telling me
what you think? I thank you in advance for those who take the time to do
this. - Dave Munsie

WARNING! WARNING! This version of ST Doodle 1.0b contains
a custom print driver that is pretty gosh darn slow!

When printing out very big posters plan on starting it
before you go to bed!! You've been warned....
June 1993 UPDATE! I'm currently working on a faster
print routine. It will be mailed out automatically to
all registered users!! - Dave Munsie

How to register your copy of ST DOODLE 1.0:
Let's make this as simple as possible ok? good....
REGISTERING THIS SHAREWARE software accomplishes two very important
things.
a) It acts as your VOTE to tell the author you like what he is doing and
tells the author you would like to see further program development.
b) It allows you to get the registered version which allows printing!
It also will have any updates or bug fixes in the current version.
If you don't register you are simply telling the author you do NOT
like the software and you do not care to see any further development.
In some cases this might be the correct message, but what happens if
the software IS decent, and the author dosn't receive any donations?
The author will more than likely not work on any other versions. So
if you like the software (ANY SHAREWARE!!) take the time to register
it. Thanks!!

b) Some clip art for use with ST Doodle 1.0b.

delay in getting your registered software out the door!! Thanks..
